I found this recipe in a Kraft magazine. This is a quick and easy dessert that is ready in an hour. I make my own whipped cream, rather than using Cool Whip or Reddi-Wip. I whip the cream in the mixture and add some sugar and vanilla. The flavor is so much better than anything pre-made.
Ingredients:
5 ounces (1 1/4 packages) Baker's semi-sweet baking chocolate
1/2 cup whipping cream
4 eggs
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup flour
1 teaspoon vanilla
whipped cream, for topping
powdered sugar, for dusting
Preparation:
1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Grease a 9-inch pie pan and set aside.
2. Place chocolate and whipping cream in a microwave safe bowl and cook on high for 2 minutes. Whisk until texture is consistent.
3. Whisk in eggs, sugar, flour, and vanilla.
4. Pour batter into prepared pan and smooth evenly.
5. Bake for 30-35 minutes, until outer part of pie is firm and center is slightly soft.
6. Remove from oven and let cool. When cool, dust with powdered sugar. Top slices with whipped cream and serve with berries.
