This is a quick and easy breakfast that mixes things up when it comes to eggs and toast. When there is a loaf of Wisconsin Bread in my kitchen, this is a go-to breakfast.
Ingredients:
2 slices bread, sliced relatively thin (about a finger-width)
2 eggs
1/4 cup Sartori Parmesan cheese, grated
Preparation:
1. Cut a hole in the middle of the slices of bread. I usually use a shot glass or bar measuring cup.
2. Place slices of bread in a skillet over medium heat. Crack eggs into the hole in the center of each piece. I also cook the hole cut-out in the skillet as well.
3. When eggs have started to solidify, flip.
4. When egg is just about finished cooking, top with cheese. When cheese has finished melting, remove from heat.
