My sister and I went to a cocktail bar in Nashville that served all vegetarian and vegan bar snacks. Nashville is famous for it's Hot Chicken, so the bar had taken a vegetarian spin on the classic Nashville flavor. This dip packs a spicy punch, so it goes well with some fresh vegetables.
Ingredients:
1 can chickpeas, drained
1/4 cup tahini
1/4 cup lemon juice
1 clove garlic
2 tablespoons olive oil
3/4 teaspoon cumin
pinch of salt
3 tablespoons Nashville Hot Chicken seasoning
1/4 cup honey, plus more to drizzle
Preparation:
1. Put everything in a food processor and blend until smooth.
2. Drizzle with additional honey. Serve with pita chips and fresh vegetables.
