I really prefer red potatoes over russet potatoes, so I usually make mashed potatoes with them. I like the skin, so I don't peel the potatoes first. These are usually made a few times a month for dinners!
Ingredients:
4 medium red potatoes, but into 1-inch cubes
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons milk
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon pepper
1/2 teaspoon salt
Preparation:
1. Boil a medium pot of water over medium heat. Add cubed potatoes and boil 10-12 minutes, until soft.
2. Drain potatoes and return to pot.
3. Add butter, milk and spices and mash well using a potato masher or hand mixer.
