This BBQ sauce is one of my favorites - a little sweet, a little spicy. It's great on wings, on a burger, or as a dip for onion rings.
Ingredients:
2 cups ketchup
1/2 cup water
1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
1/8 cup molasses
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 tablespoon hickory Liquid Smoke
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tablespoon garlic powder
1/2 tablespoon onion powder
1/2 tablespoon Dijon mustard
salt and pepper
3 habanero peppers, seeded
2 cups pineapple
Preparation:
1. To make BBQ sauce, blend habanero peppers and pineapple in blender until smooth.
2. In a medium sauce pan, combine all ingredients, including the habanero and pineapple.
3. Simmer over medium, stirring occasionally, until sauce thickens. This takes about 20 minutes.
