For my sister's birthday, she wanted everything cheese - mozzarella sticks, mac and cheese, and cheese fondue. We made the cheese fondue from the Sartori website, and it was delicious!
Ingredients:
3/4 cup 2% milk
3/4 cup heavy cream
1/4 cup dry, white wine
8 ounces cream cheese
1 clove garlic, minced
1 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 cups Sartori MontAmoré, shredded
1 1/2 cups Sartori SarVecchio Parmesan, shredded
Dippings:
pretzel bread
baguette
vegetables (carrots, celery, tomatoes)
apples
beef tenderloin, cookied medium rare
Preparation:
1. Melt cream cheese, milk, cream, white wine, garlic, and salt in a medium sauce pan over medium heat. Stir until cream cheese has melted completely.
2. Stir in MontAmore and Parmesan, stirring until all cheese has melted and fondu is smooth.
3. Pour sauce into a warming or fondu pot. Servce with pretzel bread, apples, cooked beef tenderloin, vegetables, or pita chips.
