Montamore is one of my absolute favorite cheeses. I love it in Wisconsin Mac and Cheese and on burgers! These burgers are simple and great with Montgomery Inn barbecue sauce. I usually make them with Sweet Potato Fries. These are a quick and easy weeknight dinner.
Ingredients:
1/2 pound ground beef
1 teaspoon seasoned salt
1 teaspoon pepper
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon chili powder
6 slices Sartori Montamore
2 pretzel buns
Preparation:
1. In a medium bowl, mix spices and ground beef together. Make 2 patties.
2. Heat grill to medium heat.
3. Cook patties for 12-15 minutes, depending on desired level of doneness. Top with cheese and cook for another 1-2 minutes.
4. Serve on pretzel buns with barbecue sauce and Sweet Potato Fries.
