I am a spicy ranch lover - I love it with chicken wings, chicken fingers, tacos, the list goes on. This can easily be made in advance and used in place of bottled ranch. Cut out a tablespoon of buttermilk if you'd like this to be a little thicker.
Ingredients:
1/2 cup sour cream
2 tablespoons buttermilk
2 tablespoons fresh chives, chopped
1 jalapeno, seeded and diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 chipotle pepper in adobo, diced
1 lime, juiced
1 teaspoon dried parsley
1 teaspoon dried dill
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
salt and pepper
Preparation:
1. Combine all ingredients in a medium bowl. Chill for at least an hour before using.
