These tuna steaks are a super tasty, healthy weeknight dinner. This packs a ton of flavor and goes really well with Spicy Chili Edamame.
Ingredients:
2 tuna steaks
1 tablespoon sesame oil
2 tablespoons olive oil, divided
1 teaspoon gochujang
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 lime, zested and juiced
1 scallion, thinly sliced
1 teaspoon fresh ginger, minced
1 tablespoon sesame seeds
Preparation:
1. In a small bowl, mix sesame oil, 1 tablespoon olive oil, gochujang, soy sauce, lime juice, lime zest, scallion, and ginger to create marinade.
2. Marinate tuna steaks in sauce for at least 3 hours. Refrigerate while marinating.
3. Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil in a skillet. Sear tuna steaks, about 1 minute per side for rare. Sprinkle with sesame seeds.
